Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 10 hours

Serving: 4

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

2 cups chopped carrots

2 cups chopped celery

2 cups chopped onion

2 cups chopped potatoes

4 cups beef broth

1 tbsp tomato paste

2 tbsp flour

2 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp dried thyme

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat the sous vide cooker to 165°F (74°C). In a bowl, mix the ground beef, flour, salt, and pepper.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef mixture and cook until browned. Add the carrots, celery, onion, and potatoes to the pan.

Cook until the vegetables are tender. Fill a sous vide bag with the meat and vegetable combination.

The bag should also contain the beef broth, tomato paste, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Use a vacuum sealer or the water displacement technique to close the bag.

Cook the bag for 10 hours in the prepared water bath. Once the allotted cooking time has passed, take the bag out of the water bath and take the stew inside.

Enjoy your mouthwatering stew made with ground beef sous vide by serving it in bowls.

Note: You can change the flavor or add more veggies to suit your tastes. To improve the flavor, you may also sear the steak before cooking it sous vide.
