1 block (14-16 oz) firm tofu, drained and pressed
1/2 cup BBQ sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat your sous vide machine to 165°F (74°C).
Cut the pressed tofu into slices or cubes of desired size. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
Place the tofu slices or cubes into a sous vide bag, and pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the tofu.
Seal the bag, removing as much air as possible before sealing.
Cook the bag in the sous vide machine for one and a half hours.
Remove the bag from the sous vide machine and take the tofu out of it after 1 hour 30 minutes have passed. your oven to the broil setting.
Brush any lingering BBQ sauce on a baking sheet with which you have the tofu.
Tofu should be browned and crispy after 5 to 10 minutes of broiling in the oven.
Hot BBQ tofu should be served with your preferred sides. Enjoy your perfectly cooked sous vide BBQ tofu that is tasty and delicious!
