1 large head cauliflower
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat your sous vide machine to 185°F (85°C).
Cut the cauliflower into thick slices, about 1-2 inches thick.
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper until fully combined. Brush the spice mixture onto both sides of the cauliflower slices.
When sealing the sous vide bag with the cauliflower slices, make sure to remove as much air as you can.
The bag should be cooked for an hour in the sous vide machine. Slices of cauliflower should be taken out of the bag after an hour in the sous vide machine.
Little amount of oil is added to a pan that is already hot.
For one to two minutes on each side, brown the cauliflower slices in the pan. If desired, garnish the
Spicy Cauliflower Steak with fresh herbs and serve it on a dish.
